These poor, little naked trees are our targets to get us 'warmed' up and to draw some positive attention to this block of Washington Street.

We'd love to see all these naked trees warmed up with some brightly colored fiber.

The plan is start with ours and then begin to ask our neighbors who we think will jump on the idea.

Another goal? How about we bomb from here to the Goggleworks????

If you missed our get together today, fear not whether you make time to come together with the group or you work solo, you are welcome to be part of this adventure.

The tree out front of STL is our first target. It's safe practice. The following are some measurements and key dates if you want to join in.

The tree is 9.5 ' and ranges 41" to 44" inches wide at it's largest diameter.

We've got our eye on the railings outside as well. They are 60" and 73" each.

Guidelines:

Contributions to the effort can be: knit, crochet, reclaimed knits and fabrics. Tart it up with buttons, applique, embroidery - have fun.
Contributions to bomb our tree should be: 18 " x 44"
Additional knit/crochet embellishments to hang from the tree welcomed

3rd Saturday of the month is open studio/get together for anyone wishing to participate. Bring your stash to share. Light refreshments will be served. 12:30 to 2:00 PM
