Altered Book Page
Calling all artists, artist wanta be's, art classes, etc.

Community Exhibit at STL

Call ALL Mediums - not just fiber!!!

An altered book starts with an already published book, old or new, which can be transformed in a variety of ways ... by adding other images, text, drawing, stitching ... or by removing pages, erasing, covering, obliterating.
In conjunction with the all fiber exhibit, Page Turner, in the main gallery, 'some things looming' invites one and all to participate in this communal exhibit.  There is no entry fee  to participate but a few rules of entry.

Rules of entry:
* All entries must use the page provided by 'some things looming' to be eligible.
* This entry is open to the use of any medium
* Embellishments, alterations, and changes cannot exceed the size of the page provided by 'some things looming'.
* All pages will be hung vertically, so artists should consider this when creating their composition.
* Entries will be selected by 'some things looming' based on their quality and relevance.
* Works should be delivered or mailed to 'some things looming' by March 23rd to be included in the display.
* All works submitted become the property of 'some things looming' and will not be returned.

Participation:
* Artists wishing to participate can pick up a page at 'some things looming' or send an 8½ x 11" SASE with adequate return postage for one single flat page and we'll mail the page to you.  (estimated postage:  $1.30)  Those not following these two size and postage requirements will need to be ignored.  We do not want to fold or have your page not arrive safely in your hands.

* Questions? Contact us at service@somethingslooming.com or 610-373-7337
