I'd love to be able to report that the holiday preparations were on schedule...

...but alas I am still behind. Regardless, some things j cookie making ust must take priority and this Saturday's plans are one of them.

This will be our shopping and baking day with the grands. All seven of them aged 18 to 10 will decend upon the mall. There, we will join forces and scour high and low to find just the right gift for them to buy their parents.

Later in the day we always make some sort of candy treat as part of the gift they will give.

We are repeating a family favorite this year. These Chocolate Mint Treats taste a lot like Girl Scout thin mints. Yummmmm......And at the end, the guy with the most chocolate on them gets stuck with the clean up duty. Why is that ALWAYS me !!!?????

Last Saturday while 'on duty' for HH3, I did get some shopping done myself. There's a great variety for almost everyone on the list. While shopping, I took some photos to try to help you with your planning and shopping too.
