who needs
santaMy grandchildren are confused by the image of the bearded, red-coated guy at the mall because my daughters have totally convinced them that "I" am Santa!!

While it's great fun and generally a good joke, some years are just harder than others to get all the shopping done.

I don't mind saying I'm in a bit of a panic this year.  I have 7 grandkids (I'm blessed) to shop for and I hpanicave 2 gifts purchased.  Count 'em.  Two. T. W. O.....One. Two.  That's it.....oh...and don't even talk to me about stocking stuffers yet.  Ok...breathe in....breath out.....breathe in....breathe out....

So.....since I need the inspiration, I thought I'd share some of the lovely items that our artists have created and while I'm giving YOU ideas for your list, I'm hoping I'll get inspired too.  Some how it all gets done, doesn't it?

Warm wishes and success!

Wood - Ted Rasmussen
wine stopper
Wine Stopper $18.00

Here's some great gift ideas from Ted this year.  This is only a sampling, but I get inspired by these so perhaps you will too.

Ted is a PA Craft Guild juried artist.  His work is beautiful and a simple delight to hold in your hands.

I was thinking these wine stoppers would make the perfect hostess gift along with a bottle of wine to complement the meal.

wood dish
European Beech tri-pod base bowl $65.00

This beautiful tri-pod based bowl is one single piece of wood. That is, the bowl and base are constructed as one.   A beautiful and useful gift idea.

stitch ripper
Stitch Ripper - $15.00

And last, if you know anyone who sews or even those of us who just do a little mending, the stitch ripper is a great gift or stocking stuffer.  These are so pretty and nicely balanced,  the recipient won't want to hide it in her sewing basket.

Dentdelion

Darya Gardeki has once again charmed us with her stuffed animals, felt food, baby rattles, and this year....mittens too! All items are handmade in USA , using reclaimed wool, eco-friendly fabric and felt.

Each is one of a kind, so you won't find this fellow but you will fine one or two of his cousins (that is if they didn't sell out already this week) .

Prices range from $20.00 to $35.00
