 Remembering Bob Lee

District Attorney and fellow Alumni Bob Lee's death in October stunned the Santa Cruz community, but he had battled cancer  fiercely-and privately-for more than a decade. Now one of his closest friends reveals the remarkable  inside story -
Dancing In The Rain written by Geoffrey Dunn.

" In honor of Bob Lee the Alumni Club is asking for donations to the Soquel High Fund for scholarships. Payments are made out to the Soquel High Fund and in the Memo please write Alumni Club. The Alumni Club will work with the Soquel High Scholarship Committee sharing Bob Lee's legacy to his alma mater"

Soquel High Matching Grant Challenge

Soquel High Matching Grant Challenge

Ms Alaimo was at the Ugly Mug, she reached into her pocket to pay $4 for her specialty coffee, just as we each do most days.  She put the money back and cancelled her order because she didn't have the materials she needed for the lab she had to do that day.  With no funds given to the teachers at Soquel High to cover the basic equipment needed in the classroom....Ms Alaimo gave up her coffee for science.

That's right, our teachers have no money for supplies.  Zero.  This is why we are so grateful for the $10,000 challenge grant that has been offered.  Now, we need YOU to help us access that money. When you make a donation, personally or through your company, our anonymous donor will release those matched funds to Soquel High, its faculty and staff. If each family gives just $10 we  will reach our goal.

If you would like to designate your donation for a specific teacher or program, please write that on your check, mail your donation, please make your check out to the Soquel High Fund and send to P.O. Box 1700 , Soquel , CA 95073 .
Click to view more information on the Matching Grant Challenge and click on Donate.
You don't have to give a large amount; every little bit helps our teachers provide a better learning environment for your student.

It would be an amazing shame not to access all of the funds for our school. January 31st is our deadline.  What can you do to help us meet this challenge grant?
