Thanks for believing in our schools.
During the holiday season, we wanted to give thanks to the hundreds of parents who have worked to support our public schools under circumstances most of us would find unimaginable.

THANK YOU FOR:
  • Filing 900 formal c
    omplaints
from over 95 schools to the State Dept. of Education to demand that the state be held accountable for addressing funding deficiencies in our schools.
  • Shaking loose the $45 million held hostage by the state throughout the summer and early fall. Your complaints helped shake loose funds that restored teachers, counselors, and aides to our schools by November.
  • Standing up for issues of quality education - whether speaking out against dumbed down A-F grading of schools or addressing privatization through universal enrollment plans by a private entity. Parents believe in school quality but we want meaningful measures and investments.
  • Believing and supporting in a vision for public schools.
  • Speaking up, testifying, rallying, building coalitions, and above not remaining silent.
