Join us as Stephanie Barnes from the Cleveland Clinic presents a webinar on Cashierless Operations: How to optimize technology without losing a personal touch

 

This webinar will review how Cleveland Clinic converted all parking garages to cashierless operations through the optimization of self-pay technology.  The presentation will illustrate the communication strategy, the audit processes, the staffing adjustments, and the measurable results (i.e. cost savings, revenue adjustments, transaction times).  Also covered will be transition challenges, lessons learned, as well as adjustments made throughout the project. 


Instructor:

Stephanie Barnes, Director, Cleveland Clinic Parking Service has worked within Protective Services at the Cleveland Clinic for more than seven years, and has been credited with a long list of operations improvements.  She received the Cleveland Clinic 4Q 2010 Caregiver Excellence Award, the Cleveland Clinic 2010 Annual Caregiver Award for Integrity, and the Cleveland Clinic 2011 Annual Caregiver Award for Teamwork, among other recognitions.

IPI Joins World Parking Symposium Gathering in Tel Aviv, Irael

Shalom! Maurice Anderson, Chair, Canadian Parking Foundation and Ralph Bond, President, Canadian Parking Association Chair, Conference Host Committee were gracious hosts for the 9th World Parking Symposium (WPS) last week in Tel Aviv, and despite the political unrest in Jerusalem, the conference was a successful and convivial gathering with a number of new parking research reports shared. WPS maintains a research library on their website here.

Sustainable Parking Design & Management, just released, is the first of its kind reference manual addressing the critical role of parking and transportation in sustainability.
