Volunteer to Serve on an IPI Committee
|
Volunteers are the heart of IPI. We've all seen the positive effects the work of IPI's volunteers can have on our organization. Every effort has the potential to advance the parking profession and enrich each of us as individuals.
IPI needs your skills, passion, and perspective to build an energetic, inclusive, and multicultural corps of volunteer leaders throughout our committees and task forces. Volunteer opportunities with IPI exist within many different areas of interest and on varying levels of commitment, from participation with short-term projects to our highest level of commitment as a member of an active IPI committee. Everyone appointed to a committee for a two-year term will also be seated on the IPI Advisory Council.
To apply (or re-apply to existing assignments), download the application packet, complete the application form and send it to Lauri Chudoba or by fax at 540.371.8022 no later than July 24, 2013.
IPI will fulfill our promise to provide exceptional experiences, a vibrant community, and essential tools only as a result of the time and knowledge volunteered by members like you who serve your colleagues to further the parking and transportation industry.

GPALS Project Underway: 2013 International Parking Survey
|
This summer, many GPALS participants will join together to conduct a short survey of parking trends among their members. Adapted from IPI's Emerging Trends in Parking Survey, the international survey of parking trends is being distributed by GPALS participating parking associations throughout the world. The aim of the project is to identify trends in the parking industry within participating countries and then compare and analyze for differences and similarities with other countries. Surveys will be distributed in early July; analyzed in August; previewed and discussed at the GPALS Summit in Ireland in September; and publicized following the meeting. If you are a parking association leader and want your association to participate in the survey, please email IPI's Helen Sullivan. Learn more about GPALS here. For more information about the 2013 GPALS Summit in Ireland on September 11, contact British Parking Associations's Alison Tooze or visit the EPA Congress website http://www.epacongress.eu/.
