Controller,
American Indian Graduate Center
The controller is responsible for staffing the administration and disbursement of multiple scholarships, for financial reporting to staff and funders, external regulatory reporting, creating and managing annual budgets, conducting and annual audit process and overseeing the management investment portfolio. Previous public accounting experience and experience with MIP accounting software preferred.

Gates Millennium Scholarship Program The Academic Advisor is responsible for providing support to undergraduate and graduate level recipients of the Gates Millennium Scholarship, at institutions throughout the country, in the areas of assessing, advising, and retaining students: evaluating academic transcripts, assisting students with testing strategies, responding to academic inquiries and assisting in the resolution of academic and financial aid issues. Requirements: Master's degree or equivalent. The Academic Advisor will work mainly from the Albuquerque office, but some travel is required.

The office of the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs accepts a limited number of internship and fellowship applicants each year. They are currently accepting applications for the fall term, September - December, 2014.
The Chairman's Office seeks individuals with specific interests in Indian education, tribal economic development, Indian land management, federal trust responsibility, Indian healthcare, Indian housing and tribal law and order. Interns and fellows assist with legislative research projects, hearings and administrative tasks and gain firsthand knowledge on how a Senate Committee works to pass legislation and conducts oversight on federal agencies, programs and policy implementation. Though no specific major or program is required, a good academic record is a must. Applicants who can work full-time (40 hours/five days per week) are strongly preferred.
