As we prepare for the busy season ahead, we pause to reflect on the past year.  While our recent focus has been on restoration efforts, our philosophy has, and will continue to be, to reinvest in our Liberty Community.   We are committed to providing you the very best in health, fitness and wellness.  We will continue to strive to bring you exciting new programs, state of the art equipment and improved facilities.   We are grateful for your continued loyalty and support, and wish you and your family prosperity and health this holiday season and in the year ahead.

On Thursday, December 10 at 12:00pm there will be male contractors in the shower and vanity area in the Women's Adult Locker Room. We will try to minimize the interruption time. The showers in the Women's Family Locker Room are available during this time. We appreciate your understanding.
 
Winter program registration is now open.  Private Swim and Summer Camp registration begins on Monday, January 4th.

Pajama Drive
  
Our 12th Annual Pajama Drive for SafeHouse has started and runs through December 18th. 

We are collecting new, unwrapped teddy bears, and pajamas in all sizes - from infant to adult 4X - to be given to SafeHouse Center in time for their holiday party. These items may be dropped off at the Membership Sales Office. 

If you would like to make a monetary donation through your Liberty account, please contact the front desk at 734.665.3738 ext. 10.   Monetary donations are given to SafeHouse to purchase versatile gift cards (gas, groceries, essentials) and are distributed to families throughout the year.

December can be crazy busy, resulting in little to no time for preparing healthy meals. So, why not take advantage of Liberty Café's varied menu selections? Here are four tasty and nutritious options to eat in or takeout.

Orders can be placed in advance prior to workouts or showers.

Breakfast options ~ 
Pesto Egg Sandwich
Made with 100% whole wheat bread, eggs and cheddar cheese, this breakfast sandwich is a favorite post workout meal. It provides 22 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber. To reduce the calories, take off the cheese.

Ingredients; 100 % whole wheat bread, eggs, cheddar cheese, pesto, tomato, mayonnaise

Per sandwich; 470 calories, 22 grams fat, 5 grams saturated fat, 29 grams carbs, 4 grams fiber, 22 grams protein  
Farmer's Market Oatmeal
Looking for a more traditional breakfast option? The Café carries a wide variety of tasty non GMO oatmeal packets ranging from 190 - 200 calories per serving along with 5 grams of fiber and 10 grams of protein.

Ingredients (Rise and Shine); rolled oats, steel cut oats, red quinoa, dried cane syrup, soy protein, chicory root fiber, natural flavors, almonds, pecans, see salt, vanilla beans

Lunch and dinner options ~
Caprese pizza
Give our fresh basil, mozzarella and tomato pizza a try. This 8 slice pizza is a great meal to share. One slice is only 116 calories and has 2 grams of saturated fat.  
Ingredients; pizza crust, basil, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, olive oil.
Per slice; 116 calories, 6 grams fat, 2 grams saturated fat, 12 grams carbs, 4 grams protein, .5 grams fiber

Mediterranean salad
Mixed greens and spinach make this low cal, high fiber salad both tasty and satisfying. This salad can be customized to suit individual preferences because it's made to order. (Assorted dressings are available at the Cafe.)

Ingredients; mixed greens, spinach, zucchini, red onions, tomatoes, kalamata olives, feta cheese

Per salad (without dressing); 200 calories, 12 grams fat, 6 grams saturated fat, 15 grams carbs, 2 grams protein, 8 grams fiber

Aussie Tennis Event

Get your friends and register now for a fun night of tennis doubles.   Food and beverages are included with this event. 

This event is for ages 18 and older.  There is a 48-hour cancellation policy for this program. Space is limited.

If you are looking for fun during school vacations, Liberty is the place to be! Kids will be participating in organized games, crafts, free swim, rockwall climbing, and more. Lunch will be provided each day to full and morning half day campers. Liberty will also provide two snacks to full day campers and one snack to half day campers.

Register for one day or for all of them! 48-Hour cancellation policy applies to each day of Camp
