Historic Restoration of the Kuns House 
Spectra Company brings La Verne treasure back to life
On June 13th, 2014, Spectra Company unveiled the newly restored historic Kuns House in La Verne, CA. The house was built in 1911 by Henry L. Kuns, a real estate agent, citrus rancher, humanitarian and first mayor of the city of Lordsburg -- the original name for La Verne. Having fallen into disrepair over the years, Spectra Company President Ray Adamyk, saw the diamond underneath and brought it back to its former glory. To read the article in full, please  - Click Here!

Just Starting - 
Humboldt Courthouse
This courthouse in Eureka, CA opened its doors in 1960 on the previous site of the 1889 courthouse,  which had been damaged by an earthquake in 1952. The mosaic murals over each of the entrances, designed by Sophie Van Bourn, wife of the architect, will be the focus of Spectra's preservation. For more information, please Click Here!
In Progress -
California's First Theatre

Built by English Sailor Jack Swan in 1847 from lumbar salvaged from a shipwreck, this theatre served as a small stage hosting melodramas, and also servedl as a tavern and lodging for whaling men. It was donated to the State of California and is currently being restored by Spectra.

Recently Completed - United Artist Theatre

Formerly this historic theatre hosted both live and movie events premiering the works of such great actors as Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford. Spectra's work included wood, steel, terra cotta and marble restoration, and the building subsequently re-opened as ACE Hotel. For more photos please Click Here!

2014 Arizona Historic Preservation Conference

The 12th Annual AZ Historic Preservation Conference was recently held at the majestic Esplendor Resort.
