Spectra Company is working with George C. Hopkins Construction to complete the restoration of the Historic Brand Library in Glendale, CA. The Brand Library is located in the Brand Mansion which was built in 1904 by Leslie C. Brand. The mansion's name, which can be seen on the entryway to the property, is El Miradero. The architectural style of this building is considered Saracenic and boasts Spanish, Moorish and Indian styles. Upon Brand's death in 1925, the house was donated to the City of Glendale, and by 1956, was converted into the library that still stands today.
