This space was formerly known as Praise to the King Ministries, a church led by Apostle Nailah Gilliam in a small storefront next to a liquor store in inner city Wilmington. As the Spirit spoke strongly to the Apostle, she realized that "the Restructuring of Praise to the King Ministries must take place, because God is positioning His remnant for 'next-level', 'other-dimensional', 'not-of-this-realm' ministry. The 'order' is changing, and we must be prepared!"

Praise to the King Ministries became the House of Re-Awakening Minds, led by SiStar Nailah Gilliam. As the teachings expanded cosmically, the congregation knew it needed to become a center of light, a beacon of healing within its inner city neighborhood where shootings were taking place every other week.  

The center's "Thirsty Thursday" Spiritual Services gave way to Thursday evening Healing Meditation Circles, including Reiki for everyone who attended. Recipients reported coming in loaded with stress and leaving stress-free, coming in with shoulder pain and leaving with it much reduced, and feeling sensation in a leg where there had been no sensation felt for the past two years. As congregation members opened themselves to raising their vibrations, they noticed enlightening sensations and feelings, of deep calm and inner peace and joy.  

Zing Nafzinger, Usui Reiki Healing Touch Master Teacher, agreed to teach Reiki I and II certification classes to anyone in the congregation who wanted to become a bridge of healing energy for the benefit of the community.
