Bonjour!
I have found a new meditation spot, and I am watching a large pink waterlily unfold in the morning sun. I hear the sproing and click and splash of a frog as it makes its way across the pond. The large blue dragonflies are circling and chasing each other, glitteringly reflected in the dark blue mirror of the water. I see a ripple and two sleek black fish stop to drift before flicking their fins and disappearing from view. I am bathed in the morning breeze and the 360 of bird and insect song.
Where are you finding your peace in the "soup" of daily life?
I'm thinking about the integral connectedness and interdependence of life. The other day I watched a child showing a pink purse she had found outside to the adults around her. She absorbed their responses, filing them away in her brain and heart. She traded the purse to her sister for a wooden girl-mouse and showed the new item to the adults around her, absorbing their responses. Silently, she was gauging whether she will stick by her actions or change her mind. I am doing the same thing. I have an idea about setting up a healing center for two months next summer in Saignon, and I present the idea to the people around me. I gauge their responses. I readjust how I present my idea, checking my wording, and present it to people again.
In the "soup" of life, the flavor of every vegetable affects every other vegetable. I want to stay aware of the responses I make to the communications others present to me, and make sure I make time for what brings me peace.
Looking for the blessings in every moment,
Zing

Journeying With Tina
This was the third year for Tina, of California, experiencing Zing's Tours in Provence. She was in Saignon for two weeks, a medieval hill village among other medieval hill villages, surrounded by poppies,

Morning coffee and croissants at Chez Christine. | lavender fields, cherry orchards, and vineyards.
"I loved returning to Chez Christine's cafe/pastry shop for the delicious food.
"I loved swimming in our pool.
"I loved finding my walking stick!
| |
Walking along the plateau of Fort Buoux. |
"I loved exploring and seeing a new village, Caseneuve, and its Cherry Festival.
| |
Tasting cherry jam at the Cherry Festival. |
"I loved the beautiful weather, finding cool postcards, and seeing the cute cat rolling around in front of us as we walked to Saignon's rocks for the beautiful view.
| | Sharing life experiences with new friends from Australia and Japan. | "And most of all, I loved having good company to share these favorite times with!
"When I think of pleasure, the first word that comes to mind is 'delight'. Delight is me feeling like a kid in a candy store, or the feeling I get when I am opening a present--the element of anticipation/surprise in what is going to happen next. Delight/pleasure is me making whatever I may be doing a little more challenging and rewarding by being playful with myself.

Bicycling along the Calavon River. |
"When I rode the bike, for example, I made it a game. I asked myself, How far can I ride today? What vistas will I see? Who will I meet? Will I pedal up the hill to get back home or have to walk my bike? Hmm...let's find out! As I realize I can ride for a long distance, see many beautiful and surprising vistas, meet friendly bikers, AND ride uphill, I experience pleasure. I know I played the game I created for myself. I met the

challenges I set before me. And even if I had discovered that I could only ride a short distance, and not seen beautiful vistas or ridden uphill, I would still have experienced pleasure in knowing I had played my game. I had done my best. I will continue to play my games of delight/pleasure, creating even more challenges and questions for me to answer!" |

Journeying with Van Ha
Van Ha, of California, joined Zing's Tours in Provence for one week, prefacing her trip with a week visiting a friend in Paris, and returning to stay with that friend for a week after.
"I appreciated having the opportunity to be in Provence. I thoroughly enjoyed the caring and camaraderie. I like exploring new things, new cultures.
| |
Exploring the hill town of Roussillon. | My trip to France gave me a balanced experience--the busyness of the big city of Paris with my 'lost and found' high school best friend, and the quiet, close-to-nature relaxation of Provence.
"I've not had a life without struggles, but it has been filled with many riches--a good home with much love, strong values, and strong relationships. These have made me the person I am today.
| |
Setting off to walk across the clifftop of Lioux. |
"Last year, I lost my husband who was my best friend, my challenger and my cheerleader. Through my mourning, I also faced my own mortality.
"Life is a continuous series of inevitable changes. I have made many changes to keep myself centered--changes to my home, my career, and my vision of my future. I feel stronger every day and am much less critical of myself. I am letting go of what I cannot control.
| |
Feet in the Mediterranean Sea at Couronne. |
I am letting go of the 'what ifs'. This past week, I have 'let go' of my children. I am taking this trip without them, and allowing myself not to worry about them.
| |
The trolley-train from the Old Port up the hill of Marseille to the Cathedral. |
"When I return home, I'll be ready to take on new challenges with the kindergarteners, a job I love, and give back to my family and my community, where love and loyalty are etched in our hearts and souls. I am content with my life. It would have been perfect if my husband were still living to share and do the dreams we dreamed, but we have given our children their foundation to live by, and they are growing and finding their way, serving humanity and creating meaning for their life.
"I feel my husband's spirit as if he's still here on this earth with me. I can see his smile!" |
Who Are Our Spiritual Guides?
We are the parts of you that stand outside of Time, tested by our own capacities for wisdom and understanding, witnesses to that which takes place within Time.
We stand with others who have stood the test of Time and shown that they are willing to be trusted with further capacities/capabilities and wisdom that is to be turned into reality t/here on the earth.
Love is all there is. [smile] Pretence is not a societal ruling that we are aware of. You people can pretend to love or you can really/truly love. We want you to really/truly love--others, your planet, the world you have built from sand. We see your light downplayed, and we want to kick it up a notch, and see you shine in all your brilliance!
You are a heavensent being, to show what real/true love is. We are here to show others how to live in love, breathing in and out our love, perfecting our beings in love, and in truth leading others back to their appropriate fold (the Heart of God) safely and harmoniously. <3
We are the colors, the clowns of the universe--laughing and frolicking in the heavenly waves of the skies. We are the people you hate, wishing and daring you to love us. We are the people you want to become like, your role models and mentors. We are your children, who take after you and want to become like you. All of us are you. And vice versa, all your hopes and dreams are us. |

Meditation: Zing Along!
STAY WHERE YOU ARE
Imagine that someone is saying to you, "Stay where you are!"
What goes through your head as you hear this? What passes through your heart at the thought of staying where you are?
Many people don't want to be where they are and would like to be somewhere else. Are you one of those? What is it that makes you chafe at the bit to be elsewhere? Think about this.
Staying where we are actually takes less personal effort. We can relax in an awareness that everything is perfect as it is. We can open ourselves to our greater Self (in charge) and allow the blessings to flow toward us. There is a river of abundance flowing toward us whenever we choose to stand still and face it. So stand in your river of abundance, open your arms and heart, and stay where you are. |

Ascension Means Rising In Love
@-->---- |
Metaphysical Travellers are people who travel through life with a metaphysical perspective. That means we view life as a journey. We travel from star to star as easily as we traverse the grounds we walk upon. We care about the earth, humanity, and the living planets around us. We hike up psychological mountains to see what's on the other side.
As we travel together, we support each other on our individual journeys--laughing, crying. We take each mundane aspect of physical life as a challenge to our spiritual creativity as we intend bringing more spiritual joy into our lives.
