Happy Spring!

The acrylic waterlilies are blooming happily and warmly inside on my wall as I continue preparations for my summer art exhibit at the Chesapeake City Town Hall (see below). The bright purple and yellow colored petals of the crocuses, daffodils, and hyacinths outside are covered in chilly white snow.

I am joyously teaching Reiki I and II classes, networking with holistic practitioners in the area, and scheduling Crystal Light Bed appointments for monthly John of God Center Open Houses.

I recently watched clips of The Failure Club on YouTube. A Failure Club is a group which encourages you to move past failure to making a lifelong dream of yours come true--like learning to hand-build a motorcycle and riding it cross-country, overcoming shyness to become a stand-up comedienne, opening a men's boutique and designing clothing for it, starting a catering business, etc. I remember years ago participating in accountability-holding Success Teams (Barbara Sher), Mastermind Groups (Napoleon Hill), Intenders of the Highest Good Circles (Tony Burroughs), and Manifestation Meditation Groups (Abraham-Hicks). Every week is a bringer of miracles when you aren't afraid to keep moving forward and your eyes are open to seeing them.

Do you belong to a group within which you can state your dreams, face your fears, and work toward manifesting them? I would love to hear what you are accomplishing these days! Just click Reply and dash me a quick note. You are a part of me in a different body along our grid of being, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Love and blessings,

A Prize To Give Away

I feel like giving away a prize--an aromatherapy diffuser with four essential oils and five tea lights in a beautiful cabinet. I want my angels to choose the winner of this prize, so I need to concoct a "game" for you to play so the winner can be chosen.

How about a writing game? I want to hear your story of "What Adds Zing to My Journey of Life" or "How I Practice Ascension Meditation and What It Is Doing For Me". Your story can be emailed to i.m.zing@comcast.net, along with a photo of yourself, preferably a lovely headshot. Please do not write anything you would not want to see printed in this enewsletter--I intend to share the stories I receive, because how you live your life will inspire others!

"It's my birthday, and I want to throw a big bash and raise money for a cause I'm passionate about. Last year I went to South Africa to learn about the cultural challenges and progress there, and I became entranced and inspired by the story of Sharon Katz and The Peace Train.

"As a young teenager in South Africa, Sharon used to smuggle herself into the "Blacks Only" townships, using music to break through the country's artificially-imposed racial barriers. In 1992, she formed the country's first
Peace Train Band
Sharon Katz and The Peace Train band and dancers
500-member multicultural and multilingual performing group. In 1993, she took 150 of her performers on a concert tour called The Peace Train.   The performers played, sang, and danced to promote a peaceful transition to democracy in South Africa. Sharon was asked to write songs in many of South Africa's languages to teach people how to vote. Now world-known, Sharon has recorded albums with many of the world's most popular musical artists: Sting, Paul Simon, Tina Turner, Elton John, Madonna, Bette Midler, and Pete Seeger.

"With violence, intolerance and problems in schools becoming a daily concern in America, Sharon is doing workshops and concerts in schools, universities and community centers across the country, forming Peace Train projects in many cities. I want my birthday to celebrate this work for positive change. I want people to come and dance away the evening and contribute toward this cause!

"Come experience the unstoppable beat and amazing harmonies of the South African music of Sharon Katz and friends. I am asking each participant for at least a $15 contribution at the door. And if you can't come on the 6th, log onto www.SharonKatz.com and make a contribution marked for Sharon's Birthday. Do you want to contribute food for the occasion? Call me at 302-528-5517. Thanks!"

"On the Spring Equinox, I woke up and did ceremony to honor the first day of spring and life in oneness and to say thank you to winter for showing me many things. I used a tincture made of amethyst water, which I made at the last full moon, to bless the trees and all of life and to say thank you for bringing me to where I am now, thank you for awakening me to how important it is to love myself and all of creation.

"There is a Gaia Healing Portal on the land that I call home in Tennessee. Each part of Grandmother Moon from New to Full I have done crystal ceremony and sent out the violet ray and all the colors of the rainbow far and wide across Mother Earth to heal each and every thing. I knew it was for healing, but did not realize to what extent that went.

"Today I learned from Patricia Cota-Robles that there is psychic matter in our atmosphere that has been corrupted from the beautiful breath of God to all our negative thoughts of separatism, our lack of self-love and love of others. Our anger and rage, our pain and grief, and any negative thought we have ever had reside there. This has lowered the vibration of each of us, for we are all vortexes of Spirit to our Mother Earth.

"I realized that through my work with the violet ray, loving energy, that creative female energy, is being strengthened and the psychic matter is being raised in vibration and being healed every time I take the time to send positive energy out into the universe. I never knew exactly why I was told to do this ceremony by Great Spirit in this manner. I never knew why with all my unworthiness and problems I was picked. I was afraid to work with the violet ray in the beginning and slowly Spirit showed me how. Spirit showed me each step of the way. And my faith grew and still does.

"I am ever so grateful to Creator and Mother Earth for having chosen to show me how to be more loving, and to have ego removed from me so that I may serve. I am ever so grateful to all my relations and our connectedness. I choose love in each and every breath. AHO Blessings to all my relations! And love first and foremost!"

Rainbow MeditatorMeditation: Zing Along!

BEING THE JOY

Once upon a time, long, long ago, there were miles and miles of crooked lanes crossing the land. People would make a road wherever they pleased, if it meant they could get home a little faster.

Now, in this land there lived a straight-line person, who couldn't deal with crooked lanes. He took it upon himself to gradually straighten out all these lanes, to make himself feel better.

Not that there was anything wrong with crooked lanes. And there's nothing wrong with straight lanes either.

What kind of person are you--a crooked lanes person or a straight lanes person? Truth to tell, it doesn't really matter. What does matter is that you do what you do with joy. Yes, JOY. We live in a world where all that we do is incumbent on us enjoying ourselves while we are doing it, or we should stop doing it!

It doesn't matter whether you are making crooked lanes in the world, or straightening crooked lanes. What matters is that you live your life in joy--the joy of doing whatever you please, springing out from your inner joy.

Please yourself in your life. If you want to make crooked lanes, feel the joy and make crooked lanes. If you want to straighten lanes, feel the joy and magnify the straightness of everything you touch. YOU are the enlightener of your work and life. YOU are the chooser of your joys. By your very being, you bring joy to this earth and spread it amongst all you encounter.

BE your joy.

Meditation: Being The Joy
Where in the World is Zing?
Metaphysical Travellers
are people who travel through life with a metaphysical perspective. That means we view life as a journey. We travel from star to star as easily as we traverse the grounds we walk upon. We care about the earth, humanity, and the living planets around us. We hike up psychological mountains to see what's on the other side.

As we travel together, we support each other on our individual journeys--laughing, crying. We take each mundane aspect of physical life as a challenge to our spiritual creativity as we intend bringing more spiritual joy into our lives.
