It's a great day!
There's a path that I'm walking through this life, and sometimes people are coming to join me on that path and sometimes people are leaving to join another path. That's the way it is for all of us, regardless of our age, time of day, or path. I rejoice to walk beside all who are walking with me! To me, this path is wide and dusty and I keep getting my clothes dirty and having to wash them. But the stories we share while we drink our cups of tea are amazing!
I have been enthralled by the tales of Rachel, who, five years ago, pushed an 825-pound gypsy wagon from Savannah, Georgia, to Atlanta, Georgia--250 miles--to raise public awareness of issues surrounding child abuse and neglect. This path took her over six weeks, persevering through a challenging 1000-foot climb in altitude. She currently runs the Brix Gallery and Guestaurant in Wilmington, Delaware. Her dream is to manifest a Soul Restoration Center, where people learn how to use the tools of body, mind, and spirit to aid themselves in the process of self-restoration.
I have thrilled watching the videos of Leonie from Australia, who creates wondrous soul-spilling ecourses, meditations, and ebooks and inspires women around the world to do the same. Challenged by her, I have begun work on my own blog and ebook, both called "Experiencing Life As A Prayer", and am encouraging everyone around me to dare begin those web sites, blogs, or ebooks they've been dreaming of but haven't yet started.

Love As A Prayer
Once upon a time, Love recreated itself as a mirror. Whenever it looked into this mirror, it was aware of its intense beauty, so much so that the intensity of this reflected Love broke the mirror into a thousand pieces, and in each piece the glory of the Whole shone forth.
You are one of the thousand pieces of mirror,and in your heart shines the glory of the One who sees itself in you.
When you realize who it is who is reflected in you, you realize your inner power. Sometimes you may hear humans referred to as "broken". The truth is that every one of us reflects God's Wholeness and Love. Our recognition of who we are--Love Being--is our everlasting prayer (desire). Our nature is Love, and so is the nature of every other person around us. In every one, we see the glory of the Whole, in whom we all are One. |

Reiki As Life
Once upon a time, Love shone its Heart down upon its people, and the people rose and cheered. They had wanted a leader, and when the leader was revealed, they did not recognize him, and shunned him. This is what happens when we say we want something from the Heart of Love, but do not prepare our heart for the reception of it.
You can prepare your heart for the reception of the gracious Heart of Love by understanding Reiki and what it teaches about being on the earth. By being attentive to Reiki principles, you will open your heart to Love.
And by opening your heart to Love, you will better understand your place in Life. You are Love, incarnate. Through Life, you choose a path and walk it. You manufacture a life out of nothing but your inner propensity to live! Your socialization gets your started and then your heart takes over. You open your heart to Love and you become a new person, connected to the Whole of all living things. You begin to demand wholeness from yourself in all your viewpoints. You choose to see others in complete wholeness. You become a transformer in the world, a healer. You want to spread Love in the world through your actions, thoughts, and being. Spreading Love becomes your habit and your life, and all becomes well.
Zing wrote an article about "The Reiki System of Being", which was published in the Coloradan wellness magazine "E.P.I.C.: Empowering People, Inspiring Community".

Love is all there is. [smile] Pretence is not a societal ruling that we are aware of. You people can pretend to love or you can really/truly love. We want you to really/truly love--others, your planet, the world you have built from sand. We see your light downplayed, and we want to kick it up a notch, and see you shine in all your brilliance!
You are a heavensent being, to show what real/true love is. We are here to show others how to live in love, breathing in and out our love, perfecting our beings in love, and in truth leading others back to their appropriate fold (the Heart of God) safely and harmoniously. <3
We are the colors, the clowns of the universe--laughing and frolicking in the heavenly waves of the skies. We are the people you hate, wishing and daring you to love us. We are the people you want to become like, your role models and mentors. We are your children, who take after you and want to become like you. All of us are you. And vice versa, all your hopes and dreams are us. |

Upcoming John of God Activities
The next John of God Prayer and Healing Meditation will be Thursday, February 21st, 6:30 pm, at the Good Shepherd Parish Hall, 310 George Street, Chesapeake City, Maryland. This group meets every Thursday at this location, to practice self-healing and other-healing meditation.
The next John of God presentation by Rosemary Volpe and sponsored by the Wholistic Living Guide, will be Sunday, February 24th, 2:00 - 3:30 pm, at the Delaware Healing Arts Center, 4446 Summit Bridge Road, Ste 201, Middletown, Delaware. Rosemary is a Crystal Light Bed provider in Bear, Delaware. She will be sharing her John of God experiences in Abadiania, Brazil, and showing the film, "Who is John of God?" 
The next John of God Center Open House will be Saturday, March 23rd, 12 noon to 6 pm, at 5442 Crestline Road, Pike Creek, Delaware. Contact Zing if you would like to reserve a 40-minute session on the Crystal Light Bed, authorized by the healing entities who work through John of God in Brazil. The bed is provided by Mike Burns as a service to the community. For your session, please wear white if you can, to signify your willingness to receive body, mind, spirit healing.
The next Drumming Circle at the Pike Creek John of God Center will be Saturday, March 23rd, 7 - 9 pm. The purpose of the Drumming Circle is to practice alignment with your Higher Power. Bring your drum or percussive instrument. No drum? Bring your hands, voice and imagination. Anybody can do this!

 Meditation: Zing Along!
MAKING THE MOST OF IT
Imagine that four years ago you had a vision of where you would be four years into your future. Did you imagine yourself where you are now?
We have two sets of eyes--our human self eyes and our Spirit Self eyes. When we "focus" these eyes, so that they are in perfect alignment, we can see beyond the limits of Time to all times. We can gain a perspective over and above the time-limited perspective of only one "now".
Imagine that you are looking down at your life from a tall, tall tree. Imagine that you can see every aspect of your life as if it were a colorful playground below you. See where you "play" every day in each of the aspects of your life.
Imagine that you are pulling into your physical space your spiritual eyes. Pretend that you can align them until your physical eyes and your spiritual eyes are completely in sync. Imagine your eyesight becoming more bright and what you look at becoming more clear in focus.
Intend that you will have a vision of where you will be four years into your future. Look down from your tall, tall tree and observe where the changes to your life's playground are. Which aspects of your life are brighter, more colorful? Where is the love? How are the different aspects of your life related to each other? Where do you see augmentation having taken place? Where do you see that something has been let go of? How does this picture feel?
You are the creator of your life. If there is anything you would have different, make a note of it NOW, and pay attention to that area of your life NOW. Make the most of your inherent ability to synchronize your lower and higher eyes to see your life clearly from your higher perspective! Once you know the direction you want certain aspects of your life to go, climb down from your tree and re-engage in your life. Your awareness will guide your life. |
