Now in its 29th year, Dragon Con returns this Labor Day weekend. Dragon Con is the largest multimedia, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music and film in the world. Dragon Con boasts close to 40 fan-based tracks, a film festival, parade, art show, comics, pop art exhibits and displays, nightly concerts and parties.

One of the most successful and respected programs in the country, the Alliance Theatre Acting Program offers students of all ages, experience, and abilities a chance to work with professional theatre and film educators in one of America's most renowned regional theatres. The Alliance's adult acting classes can take you from absolute beginner all the way to a career in acting, whether your interests are on the stage, in front of a camera, or behind a microphone. Early Fall Acting Classes begin September 8th, visit alliancetheatre.org/classes to register and learn more about their acting classes and business communication training through the Alliance@work program.

Sparks fly and rhythms ignite as mambo and salsa bandleader and percussionist Tito Puente Jr. brings a modern edge to the timeless music of his Latin heritage. This vibrant entertainer wows audiences with his unique musical style and passionate performance. It's a Caribbean party that starts with free salsa lessons and dancing at 7:30. The show begins at 8:30pm and is presented by Arts@Tech.
