The Art of 401(k) Maintenance
Turn off the noise and stay the course with your 401(k).

The only thing certain about the stock market is that it will go up and down. How much and when - well that's the unpredictable part.

As the markets move, many people are compelled to look at account balances (especially their 401(k)'s). While it's great to see new highs, it can be unsettling when values drop each month. So why do we look so often?  Are we gluttons for punishment?

We're excited to share a recently uncovered report commissioned by Fidelity Investments.  You haven't heard about the findings from them; because they don't want you to know the results.  But don't worry, Ron Lieber, a columnist for the New York Times uncovered the story, and we think it's truly worth your time to read it.

The pay gap between men and women is front and center in the news world. While you can debate whether women and men are paid equally for the same job. There is no doubt that women are paying more for similar products and services than men. Have you been to the dry cleaner recently?

The pricing gaps from "girly" toys to pink razors are often large and start early. While manufacturers and service providers are not supposed to charge men & women differently, they often do, citing higher costs and labor fees for the "girl" version.
