Don't Send Me to a Home!
The nursing home you remember may soon be a thing of the past.

She's Still Got it at 90
She's Still Got it at 90
The idea of going to a traditional nursing home is not one that you'll find on many bucket lists! Between the cost, and less than appealing images of nursing home life, it's obvious that nearly 75% of adults over 45 would rather age at home for as long as possible.

Gone are the days of pensions, the gold watch and a cruise on the Love Boat.  Life in your 80s and 90s is now filled with activities and adventure.  (Click on the video)

Stop Storing Stuff
Get rid of your storage unit.  You'll save money and declutter your life all at the same time.

How long have you been paying a monthly fee to store your "stuff?"  Do you even know what's in there?
As we age, many have an aversion to throwing away memories, and the self-storage business is making big bucks off "hoarding" tendencies.

Admit it, You justify holding onto items for a variety of reasons.  "I paid good money for that."  "I'll use it someday."  "The kids can use it when they're older."  In most instances you probably don't need it and your kids definitely don't want it!  Go for the "retirement cleanse!"  You'll feel great, and your kids - yes, your kids - will thank you.

Understanding Financial Aid Options
Student loans come in many varieties & have so many repayment options you need to take some time to make sense of your options.

The average undergraduate will have $28,400 in loans when they graduate.  In fact, it now a rarity for a student to graduate college with zero college obligations.

When exploring the right loan for you, consider these key questions.  Who's backing the loan, the government or a private bank? Is it subsidized or unsubsidized? What are the re-payment options?
It's important that students & parents know and understand their options and the terms of the loans they've agreed to.
