NC 2-1-1 ASHEVILLE CENTER EXPANDS REACH
Our 2-1-1 information and referral specialists have expanded their reach to cover the 16 most western counties of the state. This means they can start visiting those communities to let people know how 2-1-1 connects people to utility assistance, legal aid, health care, and more resources.

LIVE UNITED is more than a tee shirt. The power of collective impact means that we'll send more fully-stocked backpacks into the community than any previous year. Students will be ready to learn on the first day of classes. Terri Bowman with Caring for Children stopped by and let us know just how much the school supply drive means. WATCH VIDEO> 
Through involvement with our Middle School Success initiative, Highlands Circle members learned about the growing number of homeless students in our community. They collected furniture, clothes, cookware and more throughout the spring. Over the weekend, they moved the items into an apartment a family will call home. READ MORE>
