"FILL THE BUS" WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES ON SATURDAY	GIVING BACK: EPSILON AT ERWIN MIDDLE SCHOOL
The difference between an "A" student and a failing student can be basic school supplies to do homework and participate in class. Nearly one in four children in our community lives in poverty and can't afford tools like notebooks, pencils, or backpacks to start the school year. Help us fill buses full of school supplies this weekend. READ MORE>	Epsilon is a local service-disabled veteran-owned small business providing global technology support and deployment services. Employees wanted to give back to their community and approached us. We managed a project at Erwin Middle School, a campus where we'll expand Middle School Success in the next two years. READ MORE>

ADVOCATE

AmeriCorps members work as tutors and mentors at schools, as well as in after-school programs, among dozens and dozens of assignments in Buncombe County and North Carolina. Congress has proposed a 42% funding cut to the program. If this happens, the financial burden to keep these community programs going will rise. READ MORE>
