We invited community partners to Enka Middle School so students could find out about summer events and learning opportunities. How we approach the "First 2,000 Days" of a child's life can make a difference for the child and community. Experiences and environments determine which connections get used more and therefore, strengthened. Those that are used less fade. READ MORE>

Transitioning out of homelessness is unthinkable for some. Highlands Circle is collecting household essentials to make the move to permanent housing a little easier for a local family. Help them collect beds, a table, a sofa, chairs and more. READ MORE>
