Students are finishing projects and preparing for end-of-year tests, but soon, they'll start summer programs and camps. Kids need active, engaging recreation that promotes well-being and wholesome physical development. We need your help in the final days of our sporting goods drive to ensure all kids stay active. Art projects are a great way to minimize the "summer slump!" Hands On Asheville-Buncombe (the volunteer center of United Way) and Big Brothers Big Sisters need volunteers to assemble summer art kits for kids from low-income, single-family homes. READ MORE>
