America's Promise Alliance heard about great work being done in our community to ensure middle school students are prepared to succeed in high school and to graduate. In Ann's latest blog, she recalls how a volunteer experience when she was 13 years old put her on a path to helping others. It also helped her to understand that people who live in the same community can have vastly different experiences. Our gift drive officially ends on December 2 and we need your help to make sure every middle schooler in Buncombe County has something to unwrap this year.
