President of NRLC Speaks Out Against Federal Judge
|
Regulations passed in Texas, which affected clinics that perform abortions there, were set to go into effect yesterday. On Friday, a federal judge blocked those regulations, on the grounds that they unconstitutionally restricted access to legal abortion.
Carol Tobias, President of National Right to Life Committee, was a guest on This Week With George Stephanopoulos, the popular Sunday morning ABC news program.
In the interview, Carol shed light on the pro-abortion advocates' argument: "Their argument is that it's an undue burden on the women. It's actually an undue burden on... the abortion facilities."
She continued, saying, "They do not want to meet even the minimum safety and health regulations established by other medical centers."

Carol also noted: "It shouldn't be up to the state to make it easier for women to kill their unborn children."
Carol Tobias will also be a guest speaker at California ProLife Council's upcoming "Be Normal & Change History!" ProLife Conference. If you would like to hear Carol speak this September, ORDER YOUR TICKET NOW!
