ProLife Candidate Wins State Senate Seat
|
Assemblymember Mike Morrell (R-Rancho Cucamonga) won the election for the open seat in Senate District 23, which covers parts of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
County results showed that Morrell won with 62.6% of the vote. This margin (with the nearest competitor only getting 15.3% of the vote) allows him to avoid a runoff election in June. The full results for Tuesday's election are included below.
In a recent story, California ProLife PAC endorsed Morrell for his continued support of the pro-life issue. Assemblymember Morrell recieved a "100% ProLife" rating in CPLC's 2013 Legislative ScoreCard, which tracked how he voted on pro-life issues in California.
