President Ronald Reagan frequented the Century Plaza Hotel for his campaign night victory parties. He regularly made it his 'West Coast White House' when visiting California during his administration. It is a California icon of the Reagan era.
Please join us on the 103rd Anniversary of his birth as we "Salute the Gipper" and his extraordinary legacy!
"A Salute to the Gipper"
February 6, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.
Lobby Court and Patio
Join us as we "lift a glass' in salute to one of America's greatest presidents. Meet with Reagan alums from California and Washington administrations, as well as Reagan aficionados from the present day. There is no charge to attend, but donations will be accepted, and all attendees will receive a copy of Reagan's timeless work, "Abortion & the Conscience of the Nation."
There will be a special 'tip of the hat' to the late Judge William P. Clark, who passed away in late August. Judge Clark was Gov. Reagan's Chief of Staff, California Supreme Court Justice, National Security Advisor who helped engineer the downfall of the Soviet Empire, holder of various Cabinet posts, a humble and gracious gentleman, and the person that the official Reagan biographer called, "the man spiritually closest to Ronald Reagan." Judge Clark insisted that the Reagan legacy on life not be forgotten, and insisted on the re-issunace of the President's significant work.
Please feel free to forward this message to all your friends, we are looking to have a great showing in support of Reagan!
We hope you can make it!
