"...there appeared a woman with a spirit that had crippled her for eighteen years. She was bent over and was quite unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, "Woman, you are set free from your ailment." When he laid his hands on her, immediately she stood up straight and began praising God."

SEASONAL PARKING ISSUES: Take Note!
A recent visit by Rumson's kind police chief, Scott Patterson, recommends the following for those who do not want to be ticketed on Sunday mornings:
1. Be sure your parked car is facing the proper direction, i.e. the direction of traffic flow.
2. You must park 50 feet from any stop sign.
3. Even with no stop sign, you must park 25 feet from an intersection.

The Canterbury Art Show offers a premier experience for everyone. . .
Art from Artists. We are grateful that once again our generous and talented artists are donating artwork to our Art from Artists chance drawing. Simply buy tickets at the Thursday night reception or any day of the art show. Drawings will be held at the end of the reception and each show day. Look for the "helping hand" stickers that identify the participating artists and their artwork.
Artists at Work. During the daytime show hours, several artists will be painting and drawing on the church premises so that you will be able to see the creative process in action. On show days, look for the balloons and sitting areas outside the church to enjoy and interact with the artists.
St. George's Art and
 Architectural Highlight Tours.
If you missed the tour last year or would like a refresher, you will have four more chances this year. Connie Gryczka will guide you through our beautiful church on Saturday, September 3 and Sunday September 4, (11:15am and 1:15pm each day). So easy, no need to sign up, just come to the nave (center of church) at tour time. For more information visit: www.canterburyartshow.com
