The 7th Sunday After Pentecost

"O God, you have taught us to keep all your commandments by loving you and our neighbor: Grant us the grace of your Holy Spirit, that we may be devoted to you with our whole heart, and united to one another with pure affection; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen."

Girls Friendly Society News!

Our very own Mikayla Houston will be traveling to Connecticut to attend the Girls Friendly Society National Assembly from Fri, 7/1-Thur, 7/7. Presiding Bishop Curry will be in attendance! The GFS USA meets every three years in a National Assembly to renew friendships, share experiences, and complete business of the national board. The National Assembly delegates consider and act on budget and program proposals that the Board then carries out on their behalf. The girls attend business meetings, social issue workshops, and complete service projects throughout the week. We are honored to have Mikayla represent St. George's!

Canterbury Art Show:
Outreach and "Art from Artists"

For the past two years, the Canterbury Art Show, Labor Day weekend September 2, 3, and 4, has featured "Art from Artists", a sensational collection of original art generously donated by our talented artists. At the close of each day of the show, there is a drawing for this donated art. By purchasing tickets for this drawing, you will be supporting the programs that help residents of Monmouth County and beyond. With any luck you will go home with your favorite "Art from Artists" artwork at a great price.
