St. George's Supports
Family Promise:
Fundraiser

THIS Thursday,
May 19th, marks this
 year's Family Promise fundraising event.
A dinner will be
held at Ocean Place
Resort in Long Branch honoring Dorothea
Bongiovi (BonJovi)
or her work as founder of JBJ Soul Kitchen in Red Bank.
This is Family Promise's main fundraiser for the year, so a silent auction and 50/50 will accompany dinner and entertainment - and all donations will be greatly appreciated. Come and hear success stories from past guests and the exciting plans for Family Promise in the future. Last year 20 people from St George's attended and we hopef to do that again.
Please contact Tom Esposito (tespo97@aol.com / (732) 946-8036) for ticket information or visit the website (www.familypromise
mc.org). Tickets are $100 per person for a cause we've supported since its beginning.

THE FAIR IS COMING...THE FAIR IS COMING!

JUNE 11, 2016 - 9:30am - 2:30pm (Rain or Shine)

The Canterbury Fair is only 3 weeks away!

UNDERWRITING

Underwriting is so very important to the success of the Fair! We are so grateful to all our parishioners who have so generously given to date! As each week has passed, we have been able to decrease or remove the amounts that were still needed. Indeed most areas have received the support that is needed!

We now have just a two areas that still need support.....Children's Games and Staging! Both are major areas of the Fair.

The Children's Games and activities are just such a special part of the Fair. There is no other comparable event in our local area for our kids and they have such a fantastic time! We all love these Fair activities for the kids....the petting zoo, the bounce, face painting, and pet fish to name a few. But the costs are high. Helping to underwrite these kid's activities will show our support for all the volunteers that make this all possible and help assure that these wonderful kid's activities will continue to be at our Canterbury Fair.

Staging also needs support. Staging covers a lot of the behind the scenes costs that are essential for the Fair but nobody really sees....Security is a big part of this. Please consider helping us to offset these costs and making this another very successful year for the Canterbury Fair. Each and every donation, whether large or small, goes a long way towards helping us reach our goal

The following activities still needs funding:

 Petting Zoo
$600
 Bounce House
$1000
 Prizes & Crafts
$750
 Staging
$2150

Please call Herb Geiss at 732-996-5606 or email him at hgeiss@comcast.net to donate.

Any amount is helpful and most appreciated!!   Thank you!  Thank you!
