TRINITY CHORISTERS: This Sunday April 17th
Join us during the 10am Service
Trinity Choristers
The Chorister Program of Trinity School of the Arts is an after-school program that trains boys and girls to sing professionally with adult singers, working together as equals in an art and ministry that knows no age boundary.

The Chorister Program serves young people from third grade though High School. It uses the curriculum from the Royal School of Church Music called Voice for Life, which focuses on age-appropriate vocal training, sight-singing, and music theory. We also offer homework help and piano lessons to our Choristers to build their skills and give them a chance to excel, and break the cycle of poverty many find themselves in.

CANTERBURY FAIR SILENT AUCTION

Dear Friends,

Jill Gemmel and her husband, Bill, are quite new to St. George's by the River. Jill has generously agreed to Chair this year's Silent Auction. In the past, Jill has chaired many fundraisers and has decided to get involved with the Canterbury Fair this year as a way to get to know more of us in our parish family.
Based on all that needs to be done prior to June 11th, we are getting a bit of a late start. However, as we all know, in terms of the Canterbury Fair and the great people of St. George's, "It all just happens!" Well...we know this statement to be true; yet we do need everyone's help to be sure it does happen.

THE SILENT AUCTION COMMITTEE NEEDS YOUR HELP
*Would you be willing to work with Jill as a Silent Auction co-chair?

*Would you like to serve on the Silent Auction Committee?

*Could you donate something special to our Auction? (Theater tickets, sporting event tickets, boat cruises, bicycles, airline tickets, hotel stays, just to name a few.)

*Would you help by seeking donations from your favorite restaurants, businesses and shops? If you need ideas, please contact Jill.

By working together, we can make the Silent Auction better than ever and help make the Canterbury Fair a great success once again this year!

Jill would love to hear from you. She can be reached as follows:
Home telephone: 732-671-1773
Cell: 732-804-9044
Email: jillhgemmel@gmail.com

Many thanks in advance!

Canterbury Fair Underwriting
CANTERBURY FAIR
JUNE 11, 2016

Can you help with underwriting?

The Canterbury Fair has many expenses: games and amusements for the kids, lobster for the lobster lunch, hot dogs and hamburgers, and advertising and security, to just name a few.
Can you help us with underwriting? Any amount is appreciated. This will help keep our costs down and maximize what we can raise for the programs and outreach at St George's. Your support will encourage all of us who are working hard to make this year's Fair better than ever, and more successful this year!
Please contact Herb Geiss at CanterburyFair@StGeorgesRumson.org or call him at 732-996-5606 to donate. Every donation is important and very appreciated.
We are hoping to receive underwriting for the following:
Petting Zoo $1,300
Bouncy House $1000
Vendor Games $500
Prizes & Crafts $950
Dunk Tank(back by popular demand!) $500
Lobster Lunch $2,000
Cotton Candy $200
Outdoor Foods $1,000
Staging $6,500
Children's Auction $300
Jewelry $200

You will be thanked many times over with smiles, hugs, and joy expressed by children, treasure finders, and happy families!
Family Promise: Some Changes!
After 4 years of faithful leadership,
Janine Lamm-Roy will step down as our Family Promise Coordinator. We think that going forward the job needs to be broken down into smaller components. We are searching, therefore, for some special people to:

1. Be in charge of volunteer sign-ups.
2. Be the guest "touch point" person.
3. Oversee the week: should be easy if all the smaller parts are taken care of.

Thanks
to those who have already stepped up to be in charge of linens, to being a liaison to the larger program and for pantry stocking!
Please contact Ophelia if you might be willing to serve in one of the above capacities for this very special and rewarding ministry! Training provided.
