A Message from the Clergy, Vestry and Wardens
It is our desire for St. George's to be a safe and welcoming place for all people. Recently, questions have been raised concerning the policies and procedures we have in place to ensure the safety of our children, particularly those children in the nursery or Church School on Sunday mornings. We discussed this at our January vestry meeting. At this time, we are investigating a number of options, including adding helpers in the classrooms and nursery, and/or the positioning of an additional usher in Ralph Hall. We are planning to add a "help" button to the nursery so that the police can be quickly summoned in the event of an emergency.
The world seems to have become a dangerous place, so we want you to know that we have heard your concerns. We also, however, want to be sure you know that we have had NO PROBLEM.  In whatever actions we ultimately take, we want  St. George's  to remain a welcoming place to all people.
