Backpack and School Supplies Collection
ends this Sunday, September 13th

Please bring all your donations to church so they can be blessed at the 10am Service.

We will donate the backpacks and school supplies  to Foster and Adoptive Services.

Foster and Adoptive Services is headquartered in Monmouth Junction. They are the leading statewide advocacy agency for foster and adoptive parents. They provide support, training and advocacy to meet the special needs of foster, adoptive and kinship families, who provide safe, stable and nurturing homes for children in foster care.

FAFS' Backpack Program was born from the images of children being removed from their homes for reasons of abuse or neglect with their belongings placed in trash bags. Today, when caring people like you donate backpacks, they are given to children in foster care by their foster parents as a gift to welcome foster children into the foster home.

Girls Friendly Society

Calling all young ladies ages 5-21 and their moms or caregivers to join us as we kick-off a new and exciting year of Girls Friendly Society with an informational game of BUNCO!!!
This is a kick-off event,
but it is also an informational session and so just because you come to learn more, you are not required to join.

We are very excited to announce that GFS Rumson and GFS Shrewsbury have joined forces to create a broader base and fellowship among our girls, and of course, double the FUN!  Our theme for 2015/2016 is A Year of Service and we have many fun and rewarding experiences in store.

Feel free to share with others outside of the parish and/or bring friends.  GFS is a non-denominational program and you DO NOT have to be a member of St. George's to participate.  Please see event details and RSVP for this kick-off event filled with fun, fellowship, and a more in depth look at the GFS organization.
