Sunday, May 17th, 8 and 10 am:

Living Letters: Encountering Colossians:  Experience Paul in a new way!

Living Letters is a whole new approach to experiencing the Biblical story. Usually we remain separate from the text when we read it, but Living Letters recreates the historic circumstances surrounding Paul's writing of the letter and invites the audience to leave their present-day culture behind and become members of the first century church. The result is a dynamic, exciting, transformative encounter with Scripture. You won't want to miss the rare opportunity to see a Broadway performer bring Paul's letters to life.

Apartment Needed

I am looking for a very small, inexpensive, place to live. If you don't know of one, maybe you could pass this along to others in case they do. An apartment over a garage, an in-law suite, a walk-out basement with a dorm fridge and microwave, a miniature outbuilding, a stall in a barn (I am great with animals and the smell of manure reminds me of home on the horse farm growing up), an efficiency of a friend of a friend, would all work well. I would happily shovel snow, mow lawns, tend a garden, do after school care, etc. in exchange for a break on the rent. I can pay cash. I have references that will attest to my good character and the even better character of my service dog. Uncle Sam declared me as disabled in October and I would like to now spend the majority of my time doing community service (even wrote my dissertation on the subject 100 years ago) while living on my fixed income. I will find the places to volunteer once I have found a place to live. The tiny rental doesn't need to be handicapped accessible. I humbly ask for your help in finding my next place to live. Please call me with any clues or suggestions-704.315.8357 or judy_reese@hotmail.com.Thank you in advance for your generous help on this matter. Warmly, Judy Reese
