Evensong
in Commemoration of our Organ
Sunday, November 16th, 4:30pm
Reception to follow in Ralph Hall.

In August 1962, St. George's made the decision to purchase a new organ to replace its original instrument from 1907, since the cost of the repairs rivaled the cost of a new instrument.  The renowned organ building firm of Aeolian-Skinner was selected to build the new instrument, which took approximately 2 years to complete.  On November 15, 1964, the new organ was dedicated.  On Sunday, November 16, 2014 - exactly 50 years later - the legacy and ministry of the organ will be recognized and celebrated at both the 10am Eucharist and 4:30pm Evensong.  Featured will be hymns, anthems and voluntaries that were offered in 1964.

Come as you are and bring a friend!

OUTREACH: COATS and CANDY
We are still collecting coats and parkas in Ralph Hall to donate to Family Promise, Project Paul and Lunch Break.
Please make sure the coat pockets are cleaned out.

Also, we are collecting Halloween Candy for
the Seaman's Church Institute.  Please bring in any leftover candy and
place in the box in Ralph Hall.  Thanks!

Contribution Envelope Program
We are happy to announce a new Contribution Envelope Program for 2015 through the Cathedral Corporation of Rome, NY. Based on contribution trends and envelope usage we have identified approximately 90 families to start the program.

Instead of picking up a box of envelopes for the next year, we will have a three month supply of envelopes mailed right to your home four times a year. This program will enhance our envelope administration in that  additions, deletions and address changes can be processed as they are received in the parish office. It will also provide a potential cost saving to the parish and eliminate the recycling of the large quantity of boxes not picked up.

The 1st mailing will go out in December 2014 and will contain envelopes for the 1st quarter of 2015. Click here to contact our Parish Administrator Tom Dooley if you have any questions. Or contact him by phone at 732-842-0596.

Please note that on-line giving through our website or thru your bank is another easy and convenient way to make your contributions to St. George's.We sincerely appreciate your generous financial support of your parish.
SUBMIT YOUR FAVORITE HYMN!

Please submit your favorite hymn to Phil
to be played on Sundays through out the year.
