Holy Eucharist At Anchorage Beach:
Saturdays at 5:30pm

Please join us on Saturdays at 5:30pm for Holy Eucharist at Anchorage Beach. Last week during the service, we spotted whales jumping and spouting!

Parking is limited, so please consider parking at church, then walking over the bridge and then turning left to head to Anchorage. Join us for this joyous celebration!

ST. GEORGE's 2014 RAFFLE!

Only about 4 weeks to go until the drawing on Aug. 29.

Not much time left for you to possibly win a $5,000 or $3,000 vacation voucher or an Apple gift certificate valued at $600. And you will be helping the parish meet its commitment to our Outreach programs which lend a hand to those less fortunate in our community. As of July 24, we have 125 raffle tickets sold toward our goal of 600. While we have a long way to go to reach this goal, we are encouraged by the fact that 20 parishioners have sold and/or bought all 5 of their tickets. Each will receive his/her free attendance to the Canterbury Art Show catered reception (a $40 value) on Friday, Aug. 29 from 7 to 9 pm. If you haven't already done so, won't you please consider selling or buying your own tickets? The Raffle drawing will take place that evening at 7:45 pm and winners need not be present. If you cannot sell all 5 tickets, please consider at least selling or buying 2 of them. We are most grateful for your efforts, large and small.

The submitted work of competing Artists has been reviewed by our Jury. After careful review, these Artists have won a coveted spot on our cloister walls.

Our Jury consists of Carol Lynn Chetkin, co-owner of the Chetkin Gallery in Red Bank, Erik Johnson, Adjunct Professor with the Art Department at Brookdale Community College for more that twenty-five years, and Charles T. Peters III, owner and President of CT Peters, Inc., Appraisers in Red Bank. We thank them for their dedicated service.

Ladies Day Out "Cool Pool Party"

You are invited to a pool party on Monday, August 11th at 11:30am at The Clubhouse at The Dunes at Shoal Harbor on Port Monmouth Road in Port Monmouth. Dress casually, bring your bathing suit and we will order out lunch.

St. George's Summer Choir!

We gather at 9:15am each Sunday throughout the summer to prepare for our liturgy that day. Please join us, even for only that day!

Also, SUBMIT your favorite hymn to Phil to be played on Sundays. Only sacred music to be considered.
