The 7th Sunday after Pentecost

It is with sadness that we announce the death of

Florence Beattie, an 83 year member of St. George's and the mother of Alison Horsman, Leigh Siebert, and Sandra Hand.

Florence's funeral will be at St. George's tomorrow,
Thursday, July 24th, 11:00am.

May Florence's soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Please keep Florence's family in your prayers.

Family Promise Volunteer Training
family dinner
We are hosting a reorientation meeting TONIGHT,  Wednesday, July 23rd, at 7:30 pm.

Please plan to join us in the Library for an informative hour, complete with hand-outs! And, if you've never volunteered, but would like to learn about this ministry, please join us.

Also, there are still a few spots available for volunteer, including evening and overnight hosts.  Please see the sign-up in Ralph Hall near the water fountain. There is so much opportunity for all! Thanks!!  Contact Janine Lamm-Roy with any questions.

Thanks to all the senior high students and adult chaperones who lived in Monroe, NC last week serving those in need.  The REACH Workcampers lived at "Street Level" bringing the the light of Jesus Christ to the world not only by fixing homes, but by sharing worship, fellowship, prayer and laughs with their neighbors, work crew and friends.  Their hearts were truly transformed by the Holy Spirit.
We are so proud of our St. George's youth!
