BOOK CLUB
We will meet Monday, July 28th and discuss "Orange is the New Black."  Save the date, Monday September 22 for "The Goldfinch" by Donna Tart.  It is 784 pages so you have the summer to read it!  ____________

SUBMIT YOUR FAVORITE HYMN!
Please submit your favorite hymn to Phil to be played on Sundays during the summer. Only sacred music to be considered.

Congratulations to all the Confirmands and  those Received and Reaffirming their Faith!
  
We were truly blessed to have Bishop Stokes preside over our Confirmation liturgy this past Sunday.  He reminded us of our call to live as Christians in the world, a life significantly different than the dominant culture.  He also applauded St. George's and our amazing congregation filled with a vision of true community... a community filled with love that reaches beyond our church doors.

Summertime is upon us and so are vacations, but St. George's still needs your regular financial support to pay our clergy and staff, keep the utilities going and continue to support those in need via our Outreach program. We have several ways to make it easy to do:
