Personal Reflection:
 

In his second letter to Timothy, the apostle Paul used three images: soldier, athlete and farmer to paint a picture of how we are to live as Christians. (2 Tim 1:1-7 or The Story p. 457) Reflect on these three examples; what might we learn from them?

Thank God for the spiritual parents God has placed in your life and ask the Holy Spirit to use you as a spiritual parent to others.

What evidence of God's grace can you see in Paul's arrests, trials and travels?  

What might Paul's life teach us about perseverance? What might that perseverance look like today?
