Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting at Wheel and Sprocket 
Join Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl, Alderman Don Wilson (4th Ward),  Downtown Evanston Board of Directors and staff to join in celebrating the opening of Wheel & Sprocket at 1027 Davis Street on Thursday, March 28th at 5:00 pm. The reception will include staff members from the City of Evanston and the Evanston Chamber of Commerce.  Stop by to tour the remodeled space, attend presentations, and enjoy light snacks and drinks. Any bike purchase now through Sunday will receive a free Silver Level Service Package Upgrade ($50 value) and includes unlimited minor adjustments and free off-season tune-ups for 3 years!

Solay Wellness Opens at 1613 Sherman Ave. 

Solay Wellness  will be celebrating their grand opening and ribbon cutting with Mayor Tisdahl, Downtown Evanston staff and city staff on April 11 at 5pm! Stop in and help welcome them to the community.

The Andersonville Galleria will be opening a second permanent location in downtown Evanston at 1627 Sherman Ave. The shop opens on March 29 and will include a wide array of original art and unique gifts all in one location. Williams Next Door Girls Run the World Benefit - April 6
Williams Next Door and Alpha Chi Omega sorority will be teaming up at Williams Next Door, 706 Church St., to raise money for a local Evanston women's shelter, Mary Lou's Place. Ice cream and beverages will be served! A portion of all proceeds will go towards helping these women get back on their feet. As women, let's band together and show what we can do!

Annual National Meeting of The Haiku Society of America 

The Haiku Society of America will host its Annual National Meeting with a symposium and cultural events in Evanston, Friday through Sunday, Sept. 27-29. Open to the public, the event's theme of contemporary haiku and its future will enlighten beginning and experienced poets.
