Class Features
Music of the Month
March music of the month is Mambo Mania! We will dance to Latin inspired music and learn to cha cha!

Fitness Focus
We will focus on the importance of stretching and gaining flexibility as a dancer. As always, at home practice is encouraged! 

Choosy Challenge
Choosy Says...Just Say No! We will make a list of things to which we should always say No thanks, and a list of special occasion treats we would only have once in a while but not everyday.
Next Season
The schedule for the 2016-17 dance season will be posted soon. Priority registration for SIM Season 20 will run through May 15. 
Pom Clinic


Stars In Motion will launch our new All Star Dance Teams in April 2016! Clinic March 26, 3:30-5:00pm, $10 per dancer. Competitive Elite Team, Prep Performance Team, Pom Tech Classes and the Dream Team (for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities). Auditions for Elite Team and Prep Team will be announced soon. Pom Class is open to all!

Weather Closings
We follow DeSoto County Schools weather closing policy. If DCS is closed, or closes early, so will SIM. For weekend or school holiday bad weather, we will post on social media and send an email. 

We have so much going on this month! And ShowCase is just around the corner. Be sure to add these dates to your calendar.  And don't forget - we are closed March 14-20 for Spring Break!
RiverKings Performance
All SIM dancers will perform at the RiverKings Hockey game on Friday April 8, at the Landers Center. We have been working so hard and your dancer is super excited about this opportunity! Please arrive at your seats by 6:45. We will dance at the first intermission. Dancers should wear jeans, tennis shoes and the SIM Gym tank.  Hair should be in a high ponytail with no accessories (no hair bows). The routines are on our YouTube channel for practice, starsinmotion5678. Tickets are $16 each and evryone will need a ticket. Community

We will perform at Healthy Today, Healthy Tomorrow on Saturday April 2. We will be holding classes and mini sessions at our booth so be sure to stop by! This event is free and offers health screenings and interactive displays from many local businesses. Sponsored by JA of DC.
