Advocacy Update: News from Washington DC

Spring Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill
Earlier this month, OCRFA held our annual spring Advocacy Day in Washington, DC. More than 60 ovarian cancer survivors, caregivers, researchers and others touched by ovarian cancer took to Capitol Hill to meet with members of Congress and their staff to urge them to support critical research and educational programs.
Congress is in the midst of their annual appropriations process during which they determine how federal funds are used. We will continue to advocate for full-funding by raising awareness about the importance of these resources and enlisting support from both sides of the political aisle. You can help us secure that funding by sending an Action Alert to your Member of Congress today.
