Greetings!

It's been a very busy month! We're thrilled to welcome two new board members to Crossroads and we are hosting our Friends & Family series again beginning November 16th. Our 3rd Annual Gala was a great success and we are proud to announce a $10,000 grant award we received from the Maine Community Foundation. From now until the end of the year, Crossroads will benefit from the Hannaford Helps program that will help build our client scholarship fund. And finally an update on the Scarborough Police Department's Operation Hope Program.

Article1Welcome to the board Mike Sawyer and Chris Abboud!

Michael Sawyer

Mike brings his expertise in marketing and sales to the Crossroads board and has been active with our fundraising committee for our special events. An avid sports enthusiast, Mike likes to spend his time with his family traveling and cheering on his favorite teams (particularly hockey). Welcome Mike!

help an organization which saves lives and brings families together,
then I am 100% committed to that cause."

OH$10,000 grant for our Children and Mothers Program
Crossroads' Children and Mothers Program received a $10,000 grant from the Welch Charitable Fund of the Maine Community Foundation earlier this month. This grant award comes at a very critical time as we are getting more and more calls each day to provide residential treatment services for pregnant and parenting women. Thank you to the trustees of the Welch Charitable Fund and the Maine Community Foundation. Together we will save lives! Article6Scarborough Police Department's Operation Hope
On October 1st the Scarborough Police Department launched their Operation Hope Program and Crossroads was one of the first treatment providers in the state to sign up to be a resource for this program. To date there have been 26 individuals placed in treatment programs throughout the country. Crossroads has welcomed 2 women into our residential treatment facilities with 100% scholarship funds. We cannot provide this kind of support without the kindness and tremendous generosity of our donors and community supporters. Thank you to the Scarborough Police for taking such a leadership role in helping more men and women access this life saving treatment. Please read the latest news on this program here.
