We are pleased to share with you fun news from the Crossroads Alumni Association and our travel plans to Cape Cod in September. We are very happy to welcome a new clinician to our outpatient team and we're working hard on planning for our Annual Gala.

Article1Crossroads Alumni Association raises $100 for the Barbara L. Dacri Fund  

Our Alumni were a big hit at this month's Friday Night Art Walk in Portland on July 3rd. Over the last few months the alumni have been meeting and making jewelry to sell at events throughout Portland. Led by Nichole C., Crossroads Alumni Outreach Officer, the group was able to raise $100 for the Barbara L. Dacri Fund

A huge thanks and congratulations to all! Be sure to visit their table at this year's Rally4Recovery  being held in Portland on Saturday September 20th!

The Crossroads Alumni Association meets the first Thursday of every month at 5:30pm. Please email Niki for details and directions.

 

 

Article2Join us at this year's Cape Cod Symposium CCSAD
September 10-13, 2015
Crossroads will be an exhibitor at this year's Cape Cod Symposium on Addictive Disorders in September. If you are attending, please come by and visit us in the large exhibit hall - our booth is #53.

We will be featuring all of our programs and services and highlighting the latest data results from our Children and Mothers Program.

Crossroads welcomes Christine Drabek, LADC, MS to its outpatient clinical team.

Christine has been working as a counselor in the mental health and addiction field for over 18 years and works with individuals, couples, families and groups. Christine specializes in addiction and mental health issues using motivational interviewing and abstinence based 12step philosophies. Depending on the client Christine can also utilize harm reduction approaches - always meeting the client where they are in their journey. She is well versed in criminal justice and working with the mandated client. Christine is a counselor with Foundation House in Portland, ME and has worked in hospitals and inpatient and outpatient facilities in New York and Maine. Christine is DEEP and ICRC certified and will be seeing clients in the Scarborough office for evening appointments.

Help us to celebrate families and members of the recovery community. All proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Barbara L. Dacri Scholarship Fund.
