Greetings!
Crossroads has groups starting up for women, including a new Dialectical Behavior Therapy Group and another Living With Chronic Pain Group.
And don't forget our men's IOP is now taking clients in Kennebunk. Read more about our Intensive Outpatient Program for men and whether or not it's a good fit for you or someone you know.
Thank you to all who have contributed to our annual fund drive or who purchased a wreath for recovery this holiday season. Your support helps Crossroads fulfill its mission to provide gender-responsive addiction and behavioral health treatment services in a safe and respectful environment so individuals and families can lead healthy lives. Of course, you can also donate year round online. |

We are excited to announce a brand new outpatient therapy group for women that utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
DBT is an evidenced-based approach that offers an array of cognitive behavioral strategies to help individuals learn to better manage their emotions, behaviors, relationships and life challenges while developing a stronger connection to the world they live in. We believe DBT is an effective therapy option for many of our clients.
The DBT group is held in Scarborough and focuses on developing skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness. This open group is women-only and can be joined at any time.

Group members will develop greater insight into how thoughts, feelings and behaviors affect the perception and experience of pain. Participants will also learn about the biological bases of chronic pain and what this means for pain management.
Group members can reflect and gain support from one another, as well as practice relaxation and distraction techniques in order to better manage their pain.
