What Do You Say Communique'
February 2015 - "Can't say something nice?"
|
|
February Greetings!
Can't say something nice? Well, whatever you do, don't post your thoughts online!
I recently read an article about a would-be minimum wage worker who tweeted:
"I have to start that lame #@&! job at the XYZ pizza place tomorrow! Ugh!"
The would-be boss replied to the tweet:
"Now you don't have to go to that job after all because you're fired! We don't need negative attitudes here. Have a nice jobless life!"
A true story...and a wake-up call for all of us!
In this Valentine's edition of the Communique', I share some on-line communication phrases to avoid--if you must express your angst via email, Twitter, Facebook--and some preferred phrases to use instead.
Also, enjoy the updated Valentine's Day Candy Quiz! FIRST THREE PEOPLE to respond with correct answers win a prize!
I look forward to an opportunity to collaborate with you this year!
Happy Valentine's Day!
