OFF THE BEATEN PATH

Join other families already enjoying our 

hiking program!  So far we have hiked the Newport News Park, the Nolan Trail and York River State Park. 

 

The next destination hikes are tentatively scheduled for Belle Island Park and the Canal Walk in Richmond.

5TH ANNUAL CRAFT FAIR

Looking for crafty ideas?  Bring your friends and neighbors to the YMCA Annual Craft Fair.  You will find a variety of arts, crafts and fine things from local vendors.  Light lunch and snacks are available for purchase.  Buy yourself a gift or buy an early holiday present.

 
Saturday, November 17, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

  

VENDORS:  Each booth area is 10x10 with 1 six foot table for $35.  One additional table is $10, limit of two tables total per crafter.  Crafter may set up between 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

FAMILY VOLUNTEER DAY

The Y believes in helping our neighbors, so bring the kids to help them learn about helping others and join us for Family Volunteer Day, when members and volunteers come together to decorate and pack boxes of food for area families in need. 

 

Volunteers of all ages are needed to help with this community outreach program.  We are also in need of food donations such as canned goods, rice, boxed stuffing, instant mashed potatoes and canned meats.

Ages:  All Ages
