Technology at it's Best!

Kardon Tech

Greetings!

Where did it go?  Did anyone else see it go by?  2013 is... gone!  We are approaching the holiday season.  For many, that coincides or is followed by the planning season.  Are you ready for it?

What will 2014 hold for you?  What does it have in store?  What plans or changes need to be made?  What purchases are in store?  For those of you that are our clients, you need to start thinking about that.  We are beginning to schedule our review/planning meetings with you.  So take a look at your calendars.

This is the time to energize your dreams.  You know that thing that you wanted last year but it wasn't in the budget, and now it's old technology?  Add it to the 2014 budget.  It's so much less expensive now.

No, really.  Technology changes so quickly.  Before you make those purchases, those plans, those changes... check with your IT staff.  Do the research, enjoy the reading.  But get that second opinion from someone that knows (maybe even a 3rd one).  Discuss them.  When you are ready to make that choice, contact us to discuss and review options.

Speaking of assistance with decisions, the following articles should give you pause.  Enjoy!

Sincerely,

Brian G. Wilson

An Appointment?  But We're a...
Do you Work Outside Your Specialty?

You hear your receptionist on the phone having trouble with a call.  You were just walking by, and you found the conversation, well... odd.  Curious, because he really never gets flustered (yes, I said he).  You suggest he place the call on hold and ask what's going on.  You're told the person on the other end wants to make an appointment for____.  You reply, but we are a ____.  The receptionist says, "that's what I keep trying to tell them".

You get the call transferred to you, handle the situation, and sit back perplexed.  The person heard your specialty, but figured, 'since you're in the financial industry, you should be able to help.  Seems odd, right?  You're a Financial Planner or a Wealth Manager, and they need a CPA.  You ARE good with numbers, but...  Or, you are a web designer and they needed to get their computer fixed.   What do you Know About HIPAA?

What Happens to it After You've Learned It?

Let's just take a second to look at you.  Yes, you.  Whether you went to college for 2, 4, or 8 year, or attended the school of life and hard knocks, it 'took you a minute' (that's a long time) to know what it is that makes you so good at what you do.  And, hopefully, you are still learning.  So, you'd agree with me?  You've got it going on, right?

So, we are going to go with 'you are one of the smart ones'.  BUT... you are busy.   And you just don't have the extra time to add another project.  You just don't have it in you to open another chapter in this book called life.  So, smart that you are, you outsource.  Find that course or service that can help...
