Technology at it's Best!

Kardon Tech

Greetings!

They are off... again!  Donna and Karla will be traveling to Savannah to present at the Azalea Health 3-day User Meeting.  Shortly after that, they are back south of the state to present at the South Georgia Medical Managers Group meeting.

Locally, Donna was a guest panelist at the TAG - the Technology Association of Georgia Professional Services breakfast contributing to the topic The Business of Outsourcing.  This, shortly after being interviewed on Atlanta Business Radio discussing the importance of HIPAA.

In May, Donna spoke to the Atlanta Independent Women's Network about a Solid IT Foundation for Small Business Owners.   In 2012, she was asked to present at the Foundations of Business series for the Decatur Business Association, and the Kiwanis Club of Decatur.

A rolling stone gathers no moss, and right now, Donna is on a roll!  Do you know of a group that may benefit from hearing about IT security or how your technology can work for you, not against you?  Or for that matter, pick a topic.  She's up for the challenge, and I'm sure you will be impressed!  Contact Us, and let's chat!

Sincerely,

Brian G. Wilson

The Eyes and Ears at the Office

Question:  How easy is it to enjoy dual screens?

Answer:  Depends.  How old is your computer.  How old is your monitor?

Almost anyone can have dual displays, but they may not work as intended if you aren't setup correctly.  Yes, we've seen clients try it that end up looking at the same thing on two screens.  Not exactly what you had in mind?  No, I'm really not laughing, but you aren't the only one that has tried this at home.

As I mentioned, there are components of both your computer and of the monitor you are trying to use that must be considered.  Before you try to hook up that 2nd monitor, consider contacting us, or your IT professional.  Your IT professional?!  You mean everyone's not using Kardon Tech?  Dogs can be so naive sometimes.

BODIES, The Exhibition

I was at a networking function, and won tickets to the local exhibit BODIES.    Hmmmm...  Now, well, uhhhh.  I don't think I'm a fan.  I know I'm supposed to be excited.  How informative can this be?  There is so much to learn... and... see.  Can you tell how much I'm looking forward to going?  But... those are... ummm, human bodies.  What happens if, well, if something happens... to the facility or to one of the exhibits?

Now you can see where I'm going with this.  And while you are thinking about a 'situation' at this exhibit (because I know I am), let's take some time to think about what happens if something were to happen at your facility.  What would you do if...
