Technology at it's Best!

Kardon Tech

Greetings!

Here we are again!  The end of the year.  And we are all saying the same thing, as we do every year, "Boy, time really flies!"  Where does the time go?  Oh well...

Whether you are looking for holiday gifts or shopping for yourself, this is definitely a retail time of the year.  Black Friday has oozed on both sides now.  I don't ever  remember anyone leaving the house Thursday evening to head out shopping.   And when did this thing called  Cyber Monday come about?  (It was 2005).

Apparently, America is buying again.  Or, at least they are advertising again.  But be careful!  You don't want your purchase to become a doorstop in just under 3 weeks.  Just because it's shiny or it flashes doesn't mean it'll work as expected.  The newest may not be the best.

We know there is a lot out there to look at.  We see it too.  And then we work on it when you buy it.  And then we look at solutions to enhance or replace it.  Do you have questions that just aren't being answered?  Then Contact Us.  We'll spend your money like it's ours...  but that's a good thing!

Sincerely,

Brian G. Wilson

The Perfect Gift is Priceless
There Are So Many Options

I want this, she is looking at that, he needs this, I read about that, this really needs to be replaced, and...  Bigger (or smaller), faster, better!  It's all right there.  But, where, how, when... WHAT do you do?

Well, you can Contact Us.  We've been doing this for just a little bit.  You can purchase... anything.  But, here's what many people don't or maybe won't  understand.   The salesperson answering your questions is in... sales!  And from somewhere or someone above, they were... sold!  And the person right behind you, and the couple over there browsing need to be... sold.  Is this a wise purchase?  Does the salesperson have the time, or interest, to review your needs?

Pause.  No... stop!  What do the reviews say?  How many reviews are there?  Who are the reviews from?

How to Handle the Screen Peeper

Technology is our friend!  We love it here at Kardon Technology.  And it makes things so simple.  Need to work at the house?  Take the laptop.  The tablet works best at the coffee shop.  And the smartphone gets it ALL, everywhere, all the time.  Mobile devices are... AWESOME!  But, are they safe?

You figure that since the whole world has gone mobile, Internet etiquette would be an honorable thing.  But, how often have you turned at the coffee shop, or in line at the grocery store to see someone looking over your shoulder.  Or worse, you hear someone close to you laugh only to discover they were observing the joke your workmate sent to you about the boss.     What are your options?

Question:  Why would you buy an iPad Mini when you could buy an iPad??

Answer: Uh, Ummm, well, there ARE some that really can't buy an iPad.

BUT, while the  Mini is less expensive than the iPad, it really isn't much less.  Size, or lack thereof is a definite consideration for many.  Is it that simple?
Client Corner
Services That Work

Somebody needs to break something!  It's hard to write something here when we have everything working for you.  But, maybe that's the point.  The Kardon Care packages are meant to be proactive on so many levels.

Oh, wait!  I got something.  And it goes hand in hand with the shopping guide, but for the business.

So, at the end of a contract term, we meet with our clients.  Well, now we've started meeting in December.  If you haven't had your meeting yet...

What Kardon was Thankful For!

So, I had a question for this month.  But then our fearless leader sent a company wide Thanksgiving email.  I've decided to post all of our replies.  Don't tell them...

Donna:  I wanted to take a minute to tell all of you how thankful I am to have you on the Kardon team.  While this is the time of year to express thanks for our good fortunes please know a day never goes by, throughout the year, that I am not thankful for each and every one of you.

Karla:  Jason, I think you are right that we make a great team!  We take care of many things for our clients and they love us!  We have enjoyed working with you and having you as part of the team!.

Jason:  Thank you to everybody! I have enjoyed working with everybody and I hope everyone has enjoyed working with me!  I know that we have had some frustrating projects, but I think we have also come together to build a great product. And, from what I can tell, every aspect of the team comes together to produce good results for our clients.

Christa:  I second (or is it 5th) everything that everyone said.  Even working from Macon, I feel the comradery of the Kardon Tech team.  I have always enjoyed working with you guys.   Thanks so much for the help you've given me this year.

Brian:  Can't say much more than Donna and Jason.  It's great to be a part of this!  We are an awesome team and will that has just the perfect mix of brains and brawn.   Well, maybe not brawn... but our talents compliment each other.  This has been an awesome year as we expand offerings.  2013 will ROCK!

In case it's not obvious, Jason replied first.  But we all mentioned either our team or our clients.  God, I love this job!

Things to Consider When Purchasing Gifts

You can look back at Kardon blogs, newsletters and social media posts to see how often we write and warn about Internet threats.  As adults, most of us have some sort of warning mechanism to avoid Internet schemes and traps.  However, many still fall prey to Internet criminals.  How much easier is it for your children.

It's true.  Many of our kids are... brighter than we are.  Or at least more advanced with technology.  Many mature go to the youth to check this, fix that, look this up, log into here.  They truly are Tech-savvy.
About Us
We strive to be your partner, not just a phone number or an email address.  If you need someone that works to understand the needs of your practice and wants to help you succeed, if you need an IT staff without actually hiring one, then we need to talk.....
